Neutral Textures

Beautiful homes need beautiful furnishings, and our clients were ready to bite the bullet and get as much done as possible!  The MDG team does projects in North Jersey on a regular basis, so our team planned for a full survey of the spaces to begin the process. Then… COVID.

Our client was ready to cancel their contract when COVID hit, but after discussing with them our already successful remote work in Chicago, Florida, and San Francisco, they decided to move forward. We presented the space plans along with multiple budget solutions to accomplish the completion of the spaces. MDG completed this job with only one visit to the home in the last year.

The project included the full decoration of the downstairs, the master bedroom, and a few other spaces throughout. The furnishings selected were in neutral and textural patterns with the art and accessories adding pops of color. Lighting was updated from builder grade to more sophisticated selections that enhanced each space. The formal dining room was moved to the formal living room location, so a sitting area / kid overflow area was now closer to the kitchen – a simple solution easily reversible in the future when the kids are older.

This forever home is now ready to be loved for the next 20 years!
